Grand walk for Junior Achievement

by isleofman.com 11th May 2012

Two well known faces from the Island's financial industry have left the Island today (Fri 11th) for the walk of a lifetime.

Chief Executive of Boston group Greg Ellison and Sarah Sanders, a partner at Deloittes IOM, are heading off to spend a week trekking through the Grand Canyon to raise money for Junior Achievement IOM

The pair are both directors of the charity and one of the challenges they face every year is raising ?300,000 of funding.

Greg says it was thought the Canyon trek would be their chance to lead from the front and they've paid all the fees themselves so that money raised will stay on the Island and go straight to the charity.

If you want to support Greg's efforts you can visit the website charitygiving.co.uk/gregellison or  charitygiving.co.uk/sarahsanders and make a donation. The website takes no fees so every penny donated goes straight to the charity and stays here on the Isle of Man.

Greg thinks it's going to be a great experience.
