Nathanael's Flying on New Wheels

by isleofman.com 11th May 2012

Local Mum Diane Torin has thanked Manx2.com for helping her bring her disabled son’s custom-made trike home to the Isle of Man.

15 year old Nathanael Torin was fitted for a specialist trike by Tomcat SNI Limited and recently he and Diane travelled with Manx2.com to Gloucestershire Airport to pick it up from the manufacturer, which is based at Gloucester Business Park.

In addition to Manx2.com’s support, after hearing about the family’s visit, management at Gloucestershire Airport offered to transport the family to and from the airport to the manufacturer.  Diane, Nathanael and his trike returned to the Isle of Man on a scheduled Manx2.com flight later that day.

Diane Torin said: ‘I can’t thank Manx2.com and Gloucestershire Airport staff enough; because of Nathanael's disabilities without their support our journey would have been almost impossible to achieve.  The kindness and help given is hugely appreciated.  Nathanael has now been able to use his new special needs trike on the Isle of Man which has opened up a whole new world for him.  Thank you so very much."
