Help keep our beaches tidy - DEFA

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is urging us all to do our bit to protect the Island's beaches and surrounding sea.

It's a timely reminder, as only two of the Island's beaches were recommended by the Marine Conservation Society recently.

Meanwhile a beach clean is taking place in Douglas tomorrow.

DEFA Minister Phil Gawne says there are certain items which cause real problems:
