Another housing battle on the cards in Kirk Michael

Kirk Michael residents are preparing for another fight against development in the village.

That was the key message to emerge from last night’s public meeting in St Michael's Hall, arranged by MHK for the area Alf Cannan.

Heritage Homes recently submitted new plans after an initial application to build around 100 houses on the site behind Michael School was turned down, due to concerns about road access.

Last night 80 residents, including a number of Michael commissioners, strongly voiced their opposition:
