A driver had to be cut from their car and taken to hospital following a crash on Shore Road, Gansey, during rush hour yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews from Castletown and Port Erin attended the collision at around 5.10pm at the request of the ambulance service.
With the driver complaining of neck pain the ambulance crew decided the safest way to get them out was to remove the car's roof.
Crews using cutting equipment quickly did so and the casuality was taken to Noble's.
