by isleofman.com 8th May 2012

A draft report into the Island's film industry has been received by Isle of Man Film.

Chief Minister Allan Bell told the House of Keys a final version was expected by the middle of next month and would be available to Tynwald members and the public.

He made the announcement in response to a question from South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft.

The independent inquiry was commissioned at the end of last year, to assess the value and competitiveness of the Island’s film industry.

It has been carried out by consultants Oxford Economics.
