Saints v Peel in Junior Cup Final

by isleofman.com 5th May 2012

St Mary’s and Peel will clash in next weekend’s Ascot Hotel Junior Cup.

First half goals from Dan Hutton and Jamie Corkill ensured the Saints saw off surprise semi-finalists the Police 2-0.

Peel came from behind at Douglas Road to knock out holders St George’s and set-up a repeat of the 2009 Junior Cup Final.

Stuart Morris had given the Geordies a half-time lead but two goals from Callum Gallagher, the second a penalty, booked the westerners' place in combination football’s end-of-season showpiece, despite finishing the match with 10 men.
