Manx duo Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh finished just under 50 seconds behind the winner in the prologue at the Giro d'Italia.
Cavendish was 60th overall and Kennaugh 66th - 47 and 49 seconds respectively behind winner America's Taylor Phinney.
Their Team Sky team mate Geraint Thomas claimed second place with home rider Alex Rasmussen third in Denmark.
