Busy Weekend of Cup Football

by isleofman.com 5th May 2012

The Junior and Hospital Cups take centre stage in Football this weekend.

On Sunday, St. George's meet Rushen in the Hospital Cup quarter-finals.

Geordies have already claimed three of the four major trophies in Manx Football this season with the Railway, F.A. and Premier League trophies already in the bag.

Sunday's game could move them closer to their dream of a Grand Slam.

The other games are Foxdale at home to Ramsey, Michael against St. John's and Union Mills looking for another big name scalp away to Peel.

This afternoon sees the Junior Cup semi-finals - Police against favourites St. Mary's and St. George's face Peel.
