Inquest opens at courthouse

An inquest into the death of a Ramsey woman was opened and adjourned this afternoon.

68-year old Jean Marshall Walmsley was found dead in her bath by her husband last Sunday, April 29th.

The inquest before coroner John Needham heard the preliminary cause of death was natural causes and bathwater immersion.

Investigations are ongoing into whether Mrs Walmsley had a heart attack before or after she became submerged.
