Weir Castletown chairman again

by isleofman.com 4th May 2012

Kevin Weir is back in the chair in Castletown.

After topping the poll in last week’s local authority election, he was elected chairman of the commissioners last night (Thursday).

He pipped last year’s vice chairman Dorothy Faragher by five votes to four and will become the town’s civic head for the next 12 months.

Andrew Thomas was selected as vice-chairman of the board.
