Some positive news for retail in the Isle of Man!

by isleofman.com 4th May 2012

The owners of JAC Stores trading as Toymaster and Homestores have today announced a exciting new concept for their Toymaster Duke Street Store. With the recent announcement of the closure of Early Learning Centre the Directors of JAC Stores, a local family owned and run company have made the decision to continue with its retail operation within the Duke Street premises, the lease of which was due to end in May. Due to the economic conditions being experienced at present this has been an extremely difficult decision to make, but the company strongly believes in local stores offering service and value.

The new concept for the store will be called "Toymaster Early Years" and will specialise in toys up to but not exclusively to the age of  6 years. The new look store will include products that have not been stocked on the Island previously and also ranges that will not be available from the other branches on the Island, including amongst others Early Learning Centre toys.

Chris Blatcher, Sales & Merchandise Director commented "We hope along with a store revamp this will give a point of difference to the other Toy stores on the Island including our own branches, and by having different products and a fresh look we hope that customers will have a real reason to visit Toymaster Early Years!"
