Changes to the dates on which Bank Holidays will be taken in the Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 3rd May 2012

The Isle of Man has made changes to the dates on which Bank Holidays will be taken in the Isle of Man.

This has resulted in 4th and 5th June being working days for some of the banks in the Isle of Man when the UK and the Channel Islands will be closed for Bank Holidays.

Customers should check with their own bank but most will be open for business on 4th and 5th June 2012. However, there will be delays in the processing of transactions on these days as UK banking clearing systems will be closed.

Additionally, UK financial markets and payment systems will be closed meaning that delays will be experienced in the settlement of inward and outward UK and international payments.

Customer queries should be addressed to their normal points of contact at their bank/branch.
