Appleby (Isle of Man) LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Senior Associates, Caren Hyde and Robyn Wood as Counsel to the firm.
Caren Hyde is an experienced advocate and deals with a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, including freezing injunctions, enforcement of judgments, asset tracing, public law issues and director/shareholder disputes. She also specialises in employment law and is the local team leader for the Employment team. Caren qualified as an Isle of Man advocate in 2003 after joining Appleby in 2001.
Robyn Wood joined the firm in 1998 as a trainee and qualified as an Isle of Man advocate in the Corporate & Commercial team in 2000. She is also the professional support lawyer in the Isle of Man office and group professional support lawyer for Banking & Asset Finance. She has experience in a broad range of company and commercial matters, including banking and asset finance transactions, and she has a particular interest in shipping.

The announcement follows a number of recent appointments and promotions by the Appleby Group, including the arrival of Mark Holligon as Partner in Appleby’s Litigation and Insolvency Practice in the Isle of Man.
