The people of German still don't know who's been elected to their board of commissioners.
Officials in the parish are waiting for legal advice over a major blunder when Thursday's election result was declared.
According to the announcement, candidate Kenneth Watterson had failed to win a seat.
But the tables turned when it was discovered 100 votes had been missed from his tally, and it was newcomer Susan Boot who'd apparently missed out on a seat.

He says declaring a new result based on the votes cast seems the obvious answer - but may not be the legal one:
