Police parking plea for cup final

by isleofman.com 28th April 2012

If you're heading to the Inter-League Cup Final this afternoon, police are urging you to either share cars, use public transport or walk to the stadium, as parking near to The Bowl is limited.

Officers will be on duty in the area in order to help maintain the free flow of traffic.

In addition, rugby's BSM Manx Cup Final between Douglas and Vagabonds is being played at Port-e-Chee this afternoon.

The police are appealing for drivers in the busy areas to take particular care and not to park indiscriminately.

They say it is highly likely vehicles parked illegally, and those causing an obstruction, will be issued with fixed penalty notices.
