Lightning strike causes power cuts

Lightning in the early hours of this morning caused power cuts in the Crosby and Glen Vine areas

Properties in Braaid, St Marks, Ellerslie, Trollaby, Glen Vine, Crosby and East and West Baldwin were all affected by the strike, which hit at around 2.13am.

The MEA says supplies had been restored to all properties by about 5.20am.

If you're still without power call the MEA on 687687.
