Church to sell properties

by isleofman.com 26th April 2012

The Diocese of Sodor and Man is selling three properties on the Island with an estimated value of over ?1.8 million

The parsonages at Andreas, Bride and Patrick are all said to be surplus to requirements after wide ranging re-organisation of the Island's parishes.

Bishop Robert Paterson says whilst it's sad to let the buildings go, the Diocese has to be realistic, and the money raised will help to upgrade other properties which are still being lived in by members of the clergy
