A South Douglas MHK is calling for there to be a re-think over the way the Manx budget is put together.
Kate Beecroft's comments came as she spoke to Manx Radio about the closure of the MEA's shops, something she called for earlier this year.
It's been announced the loss-making outlets will be shut over the course of the next few months.
