Another ‘super’ fundraising idea from Junior Achievement

by isleofman.com 24th April 2012

From the charity that brought you The Next Big Thing and transformed King William’s College into Hogwarts comes another super fundraising idea.

Junior Achievement Isle of Man is organising a sponsored walk on Douglas promenade and asking participants to dress as their favourite supervillain or superhero. The best costume attracts a prize.

Release your inner Superman or Lex Luthor and walk, hop, skip, jump or fly along the promenade from Loch Promenade to the foot of Summerhill  and back as many times as you wish - or as your  legs will allow - to raise money to help support Junior Achievement’s work in the Island’s schools.

The event is free to enter and takes place on Sunday May 20 starting at 1pm.

Participants must complete a registration form, available online at www.jaiom.im or from Junior Achievement Isle of Man, Suite 2, Peterson House, Middle River, Douglas. Telephone 666266. Alternatively, contact Tina Edge, tina@jaiom.im.
