Over a hundred people heard candidates in the Port Erin local authority election make their cases at a public meeting last night (Monday).
Sixteen hopefuls are contesting the Southern constituency's 9 seats on Thursday.
Not all of the candidates were able to make it to the requisition meeting called by captain of the Parish of Rushen, Stanley Clucas.
Those that did faced questions on a range of local issues including street lighting, buses and the regeneration of the town.
