Vikings A have won the double.

The Wi Manx Premier Division champions overcame a fightback from Valkyrs A to win the Wi-Manx Women’s Cup Final.

They ran out 3-2 winners, courtesy of strikes from Kirsty Cooper, skipper Kim Carney and Sarah Blackman.

Ashleigh Hall and Alice Henderson responded but weren’t quite able to seal what would have been a fine comeback as Vikings clinched the double.

Valkyrs C defeated Ramsey B on penalty flicks to lift the Women’s Plate, after a 2-2 draw.

Rebecca Nathan scored twice for the victors with Colette Gamble and Gail Corrin on target for Ramsey.

Vikings B captured the Men’s Plate with a 3-1 success over Ramsey B.
