Ramsey safe despite heavy defeat

by isleofman.com 21st April 2012

Ramsey have preserved their Second Division status by the skin of their teeth.

They went down 57-17 at champions elect Ruskin Park in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.

However, despite a superb effort, Trentham were unable to beat second place Oswestry.

That match ended 10-10 meaning Ramsey avoid relegation by a point.

Mark Oldfield and Andy Cleator both crossed for Ramsey tries with Fintan Cummins converting both and adding a penalty.
