Watchdog head backs reform proposals

The head of the Positive Action Group says he backs MLC David Callister's bill for electoral reform.

Roger Tomlinson gave evidence at a Tynwald committee meeting on Friday afternoon which also heard evidence from Eddie Lowey MLC.

The committee's discussing proposals to split the Island into eight constituencies with publicly elected members of the Legislative Council.

But Mr Tomlinson accepts the issue may not be high on the political agenda:
