Inquest opens and adjourns

An inquest into the death of a Maughold man was opened and adjourned at Douglas courthouse this week.

Thirty-three-year old Scott John Clark died on Monday April, 9th at his home near Corony Hill.

The police received a call from Mr Clark reporting a death at his address.

Officers that attended the scene found him in the side garden of his home with a gunshot wound to the head.

A double-barrelled shot gun was found near him.

Investigations are continuing.
