Tributes as nurse retires after 40 years service

An 87-year-old Manx man is leading tributes to his nurse who's retiring after 40 years.

Linda Firth is an Anticoagulant Therapy specialist nurse at Noble's Hospital and has been looking after Harry Crompton without a break for most of her career.

Mr Compton's organised a gathering at the clinic today (Wed 18) to show his gratitude for all she's done for him.

Harry's been a TT marshal for 64 years and says Linda's been invaluable in keeping him healthy:
