Governor opens beer festival

by isleofman.com 13th April 2012

If you see a familiar face in your local – don’t be surprised, it’s just the lieutenant governor.

Last night, Adam Wood officially opened the Island’s first CAMRA beer festival at the Masonic Hall in Douglas.

The event runs until Saturday, and features real ales and ciders.

His Excellency told Alex Wotton he’d enjoyed pouring the first pint of a special Bushy’s brew marking half a century of the TT Marshal’s Association.
