The Premier Group (Isle of Man) Limited, the well-established fund manager and fund promoter, is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Fogg to the Boards of New Earth Recycling & Renewables (Infrastructure) plc, The Eclipse Investment Fund Protected Cell Company plc and The Premier Investment Opportunities Fund Protected Cell Company plc.

Formerly Investment Director of AIM listed environmental investment group, Impax Asset Management Group plc, Fogg has been appointed to support the New Earth Funds boards as they seek to further develop their existing recycling and renewable energy investments in the exciting “greentech” sector.

Commenting on his appointment, David Whitaker, Premier and New Earth Funds Director said: “The New Earth Funds boards are delighted to welcome Jonathan at such an exciting time in our development. He brings with him extensive experience in the environmental investment sector which will complement our existing skill set and help drive the Funds forward”.

A Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Fogg was also previously Fund Manager with Finance Wales Investments Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Welsh Development Agency and UK Steel Enterprise Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Corus, (formerly British Steel) where he was responsible for making equity investments in small and medium sized enterprises in current and former steel areas.

Speaking about his appointment, Fogg said “I am delighted to join the team at Premier who have done a very impressive job in designing and developing the New Earth Funds over the last three years into one of the most significant green funds targeting the waste sector in the UK. I look forward to helping them to achieve further substantial growth in the next few years, based on the solid platform already in place at Premier”.

Premier's CEO, Mike Richardson said "Being in a position to attract such a high calibre environmental investment specialist is testament to the New Earth Funds growing reputation in this fast expanding sector. Jonathan will play a vital role in the future development and diversification of the business".
