Sheep killed in Crosby

Police are warning dog owners in the Island farmers are within their rights to shoot dogs that worry sheep during lambing.

It comes after an attack by two dogs at a farm in Crosby yesterday, when the pair killed two lambs and mauled seven other sheep, leaving them with deep wounds on their face.

There's concern some of the injured stock and unborn lambs could die from their injuries.

Anyone with information on the attack is asked to contact Peel Police on 84 22 08.
