Date announced for Royal visit

The Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will be arriving on the Island in a fortnight's time.

Their visit on Thursday April 26th is part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations

Their Royal Highnesses will be visiting Peel and the National Sports Centre on what is local authority election day.

It's the Prince of Wales’s third official visit to the Isle of Man, the most recent being for the Tynwald Day Ceremony in 2000, but it will the first visit for his wife.

Peel Commissioners Chairman Neil Cushing says they have been given no exact details yet for the royal visit to the West.
