Camasino Granted e-Gaming Operating Licence

by isleofman.com 10th April 2012

Equiom Trust Company Limited are proud to announce that the Equiom e-Gaming team of Barry Smith and Kerry Tasker have been instrumental in Camasino Limited being granted an e-Gaming operating licence by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC).

Camasino has produced the world's first webcam poker social network based on new technology which is protected through a worldwide copyright and offers the online poker societies a new way to play online poker. They have incorporated state of the art graphics, new features in the community section for better understanding of opponents and a seamless stream so that you can speak, read and see your opponents every move. They chose to be licensed in the Isle of Man for many reasons – but primarily for the security of their players’ deposits through the Island’s strict player protection policy.

Barry Smith – Equiom’s Head of e-Gaming said: “The successful licence attainment by Camasino is testament to the professionalism of their Senior Team in ensuring that all of the GSC licensing requirements were met. Their plans for a major launch in Canada and the UK are imminent – which will once again demonstrate the capability of the Isle of Man as the jurisdiction of choice from which to base a global operation. We look forward to working with Camasino in the future as they continue to develop and launch new concepts.”
