Isle of Man-based Cal Crutchlow equalled his best ever grand prix result by finishing a brilliant fourth at the opening MotoGP race of the season under the floodlights of the Losail International circuit in Qatar.
Crutchlow fought a race long duel with his Monster Tech 3 Yamaha team-mate Andrea Dovizioso to finally pass the Italian for a superb start to his second MotoGP season.
The race was won by Jorge Lorenzo.
