Easter displays at Villa and Ronaldsway

by isleofman.com 7th April 2012

If art is your thing, an array of artworks from various local artists are now on display.

The Isle of Man Art Society’s Easter art exhibition runs daily until Friday (April 13) in the Villa Marina Arcade.

Any unsold paintings will be collected next Friday afternoon.

The talents of local workers at the Manx Workshop for the Disabled are on public display once again.

A large range of clocks and writing instruments are being exhibited at Ronaldsway Airport.

They're all Manx designed and made by Manx craftsmen using local materials.

In recent times, the Workshop has produced a new range of Manx-inspired, luxury-end goods.

The Manx Transport Heritage Museum in Peel won’t be open for Easter weekend.

Volunteers say major building work is not yet finished but they are promising to open next weekend.

Located in the old Brickworks Office on Mill Road, the museum will be open from 1pm to 5pm next Saturday and Sunday (April 14 & 15).
