Millers Lift Woods Cup

by isleofman.com 5th April 2012

One Easter Final won - another one to go!

Union Mills have won the G.H. Corlett Woods Cup after beating Douglas Royal 3-1 at The Bowl.

The scorers for the winners were Alexander Suckling, Steven Quine with a penalty and Michael Nash.

Royals took the lead in the contest through Andrew Lancaster but had Craig Dolman sent off.

A crowd of over 460 came to watch the match - more than watched Jersey win their Inter League Cup semi-final.

Union Mills long-serving Manager Derek Cowley is now focused on Monday's F.A. Cup Final against Premier League favourites St. George's:-
