Inflation falls to three-year low

by isleofman.com 5th April 2012

The government says inflation on the Island is at its lowest for three years.

The annual rate, measured by the Retail Prices Index, fell last month to 3% - its lowest level since November 2009.

Also down is the Consumer Prices Index, which fell to just 2.5% in March.

The Treasury says this year-on-year fall is mainly down to a large jump in last year’s inflation figures for March.
