Jersey are objecting to organisers about playing the Isle of Man on the artificial 3G surface at The Bowl in the English Football Association Inter-League Cup Final.

Manager Craig Culkin has told the Jersey Evening Post that he wants the game to be played on a grass pitch as the Manx will have an advantage with there being no such facility in Jersey for his side to train on.

When Liverpool were reinstated into the competition following West Yorkshire being kicked out for fielding two ineligible players, there were similar protests.

However, the F.A. stated that all future Isle of Man home fixtures would take place at The Bowl saying the opposition would have no say in where a tie is played.

The F.A. also amended the rules to read that all matches will be played on approved 3G pitches as well as natural grass surfaces.

The announcement the final will be played at The Bowl was made immediately after the semi-final win over Southern Amateur live on Saturday Sport Classified by F.A. official and former referee Ray Lewis:-

The Inter League Cup Final between the Isle of Man and Jersey is scheduled to take place at The Bowl on Saturday 28th April with a 3pm kick-off.
