Cutback questions feature in Keys

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2012

The Health Minister will be asked to reveal any proposed cutbacks in the Isle of Man's health services today (Tuesday).

David Anderson is being asked for the information in a House of Keys question.

Brenda Cannell specifically wants to know what's going to happen to prescription charges.

She will also tackle Education Minister Peter Karran about the planned privatisation of pre-schools.

There are nine questions for oral answer, with another five for written reply.

Viewing annual reports from all government departments, what progress is being made on road maintenance and a breakdown on the use and cost of locums within the health department are all likely to generate some interesting supplementaries.

After questions, there are a number of bills at various stages of consideration.

The Legislative Council has just one item of business - a third reading of the Gambling Duty Bill.
