New Equipment and Fresh New Look for Palace Health Club

by isleofman.com 2nd April 2012

The Palace Health Club has been given a fresh new look and fitted out with the latest ‘next generation’ fitness equipment.

The Palace Health Club, situated within the Best Western Palace Hotel ♦ Casino complex, closed for two days to allow for the installation of the new equipment and for the refurbishment to take place.

Palace Health Club Manager Ken Hedley said: ‘This marks a significant investment in our Health Club. We’ve always prided ourselves on our facilities and we’re delighted to be able to offer the very latest high-tech training equipment to our members and guests. We have also redecorated the interior of the Health Club and installed new televisions throughout.’

The new equipment comprises:

  • 2 x TRM 833 Treadmills
  • 2 x EFX Elliptical Cross Trainers, with CrossRamp and upper body moving handlebars for a total body workout
  • 2 x RBK Recumbent Bikes
  • 4 x UBK 835 Upright Exercise Bikes

The Palace Health Club opens from 7.00am till 10.00pm seven days a week and membership packages include gold, off-peak, family and corporate.  Discounts are given to all joint memberships.

In addition to a full-range of gym and cardiovascular equipment, there is an indoor heated swimming pool and a pool-side lounge area for light meals. The Club also offers in-house beauty therapy services with ‘Serene Spa’, from sports massage to holistic therapies and advanced massages.

For April, the Club is running a special offer of 10% discount on all new corporate memberships. Standard corporate membership at the Palace Health Cub is £32 per person per month, with a minimum requirement of five people from the same company.

Mr Hedley said: ‘In addition to the special offer for corporate memberships, we’re staging a corporate day at the Palace Health Club on Thursday, April 26. It will be a lunchtime event, from 11.30am till 2.30pm, and will be an opportunity for businesses to come and see at first hand the kind of facilities we can offer their employees as part of a corporate package.’

Today (Monday, April 2) the Palace Health Club is sponsoring the VIP area at a charity fashion show at Tower House in Douglas, with guests in the VIP area offered a discount on all new membership packages.
