by isleofman.com 31st March 2012

It remains tight at the top of JCK Division Two.

That’s after the top three all won on Saturday.

Union Mills are still out in front after a 4-2 win at the Police.

A Gareth Logan double and one each from Carl Dobbin and AJ Suckling secured the points after a scare from the Police.

The Millers now have two cup finals to look forward to over the Easter weekend.

Marown hit seven past Malew without reply.

Neil Withers, Richard Mulhearn, Kevin Druggan, Ryan Holdaway, Michael McHale, Gary Christian and Juan Killip ensured the goals were shared around the Crosby men.

Onchan came from behind to win 6-1 at Braddan.

Geoff Murphy had given the home side the lead before an own goal drew the sides level before half-time.

In the second half it was a different matter as a Mark Walmsley hat-trick helped Onchan keep in touch at the top.

Rob Byrne also grabbed a goal.

There were eight goals at Billy Goat Park as Foxdale saw off Douglas and District 5-3.

A Liam Leece hat-trick and further goals from Stuart Morrison and Gavin McLaughlin ensured the westerners overcame battling D&D, for whom Jamie Spicer, Robbie Callister and Conrad Kumar were the scorers.

Michael edged out Colby 2-1, an important victory in their bid to qualify for the Paul Henry Gold Cup.

Matthew Brand and Paul Corlett scored in each half for Michael with Steven Kelly the Colby marksmen.

Basement battlers Ronaldsway threatened to shock Pulrose as they led 1-0 at Groves Road.

However second half goals from Barry English, Aaron Raby and Callum Hudgeon fired them to a 3-1 victory.
