Half of Island's local authorities will have elections

It’s been confirmed there’ll be contests in half of the Island’s 24 local authorities next month.

There’ll be elections in Ramsey, Port St Mary, Port Erin, Andreas, Castletown, Braddan, Malew, Lezayre, Laxey, Douglas, Michael and German.

One-hundred and sixty seats were up for grabs across the Island’s 24 local authorities.

The elections take place on April 26.
