Operations postponed at Noble's

by isleofman.com 29th March 2012

Some operations at Noble’s Hospital have been cancelled today (Thursday) and tomorrow after a fluid leak in an air filter.

The two orthopaedic theatres have been closed by the Department of Health until next Monday (April 2).

Hospital bosses say the theatres were closed as soon as the leak was detected and there’s no increased risk of infection to patients.

All of the postponed procedures will be rescheduled within the next fortnight.
