Manx firm backs Porsche protege

An Isle of Man-based firm is backing an up-and-coming racing driver with Manx connections.

Twenty-year-old Daniel Lloyd is from Huddersfield, but his grandfather lives in Ramsey.

Daniel makes his competitive debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship, in the new season's opening round, at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Creechurch Private Wealth, part of Creechurch Capital, is sponsoring Daniel for the coming season, the biggest of his career so far.

He earned his place on the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship grid by winning one of the biggest prizes in British motorsport – an ?80,000 bursary from Porsche.
