The two companies involved in an airplane crash at Ronaldsway Airport earlier this month say they’re pleased with the initial findings of an investigation.
Links Air which operated the flights, and Manx2.com which sold the tickets, say the Air Accident Investigation Branch’s probe is continuing.
In a special bulletin, the AAIB found all maintenance and checks were up to date and cracks which eventually caused a landing gear collapse were unforeseeable.
Both firms say they’re totally committed to passenger safety.
In a statement, Manx2.com says the Links Air flight was operated to high standards in a well-maintained aircraft.
It also praised crew training and experience which meant they reacted well and managed to avoid any passenger injuries.
