MYO celebrates 40 years

by isleofman.com 26th March 2012

The Manx Youth Orchestra has celebrated 40 years in style.

More than 100 former players, some from as far afield as America, returned to join the current ranks for a special concert to mark the milestone.

They then reminisced at a reception, organised by the Friends of the Orchestra, with old photographs and memorabilia.

The man who brought it all together - former orchestra player and now music teacher John Kinley.
