E-gaming move predicted

by isleofman.com 24th March 2012

The director of the Business Development Agency at the Department of Economic Development says he doesn't believe the recent UK budget will damage the Island's e-gaming sector.

George Osborne has changed the law so tax liability will be where the customer using the gaming product is resident and not where the company supplying the company is based.

Tim Craine says the move mirrors the model that a lot of European countries are moving to and had been anticipated.
