Chief Constable's Annual Award Ceremony

The Chief Constable will be holding his Annual Awards Ceremony on Monday 26th March 2012 at 1.45pm in the Promenade Suite, Villa Marina in the presence of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Mr Adam Wood.

 

The Ceremony honours Police Officers, Special Constables, Support Staff and members of the public with a variety of awards ranging from Establishment of new Police Officers, Long Service Medals, Accreditation for Detectives, Certificates of Merit for dedication and  professionalism, Commendations for saving lives and trophies for community partnerships, special achievements and outstanding performance.  Commendations by the Court are also being awarded.

 

Chief Constable Mike Langdon said:

“Day in day out officers across the Constabulary do outstanding things.  Recognising their achievements at a time of considerable change is particularly important.  I am pleased that so many police officers, members of support staff and indeed members of the public are being properly recognised for their achievements.”
