It appears a Ramsey man took his own life, an inquest has heard.

The body of 57-year-old diesel fitter David Martin Jones was found by police on the afternoon of March 7.

He was discovered with a ligature around his neck in the bathroom of his home in Coburg Road.

The inquest, which has been adjourned to a date to be fixed, heard the probable cause of death was asphyxia due to self strangulation.
