A Port St Mary Cafe has won the title of the island’s Best Builders’ Breakfast after beating off stiff competition.
Since January, Magnet Trade has been trying to discover Britain’s most popular breakfast and who serves it.
Local cafes and restaurants were asked to take part and encourage their customers to enter their vote.
Beating off tough competition from across the island, Patchwork Cafe & Guest House has won the prize of Magnet Trade’s Best Builders’ Breakfast title with their £6.95 Full Manx being their most popular breakfast on the menu, keeping diners coming back time and time again.
Co-owner Rich Ashcroft commented: 'Thanks a million to all the Patchwork Cafe customers who voted us as the best breakfast spot in the Isle of Man, we really appreciate your support.’
He added: ‘Of course, a big part of our success is down to the fresh produce from our local suppliers, so a massive thumbs up to The Egg Man, Radcliffe's Butchers, Harrison and Garrett, Greeba Mushrooms, Cooils Diary and Laxey Flour - we couldn't have done it without you guys.'
Patchwork Cafe took 42% of the overall votes registered for the competition and will now receive a certificate with one lucky voter set to receive vouchers for a weeks worth of breakfasts at the popular seaside eaterie.
Patchwork is open from 10am-4pm on Wednesday to Saturday and 11am - 2pm for Sunday Brunch. Bookings on 836 418.
