Appleby (Isle of Man) partners, Sean Dowling and John Rimmer have been selected to appear in the “Citywealth Leaders List 2012”.  Now in its seventh year, the Citywealth Leaders List is compiled through recommendations of global peers, clients and charitable organisations. It deals with the top one percent of the wealthiest individuals in each country and their advisers and managers.

Commenting on his recognition, John Rimmer, Local Group Head of Private Client & Trusts and Partner of Appleby (Isle of Man) who has appeared in the list every year since its inception said, “It’s a huge privilege to once again feature among the industry’s most highly regarded practionioners and I am grateful to our peers and clients whose recommendations play a huge role in the nomication process,” he continued, “I am also delighted to see a total of nine Appleby lawyers included in the Citywealth Leaders List 2012, a further testament to the strength in depth and quality of our team across a number of our global practice areas.”

In addition to this accolade, John Rimmer appears in the “Leading Lawyer – Contentious Trusts – Prominent Figure List” and is the only Manx advocate to appear in the “Leading Lawyer - Honours List”, whilst Sean Dowling, Managing Partner of Appleby Isle of Man is quoted by Citywealth in the “Leading Trustee - Prominent Figure List”.
