Increased interest in heart screenings

A representative of Craig's Heartstrong Foundation says the sudden collapse of professional footballer Fabrice Muamba has raised a huge amount of interest in the charity's work.

The Bolton Wanderers midfielder suffered a cardiac arrest during his side's FA Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

His condition has improved gradually since the incident.

Paul Healey of Craig's Heartstrong Foundation says the few remaining places for this weekend's screenings in the Isle of Man were snapped up following Muamba's collapse, but they plan to have more later in the year.

Paul says the incident also shows how important it is for young athletes to get their hearts checked out:
